Our dog Shadow is the biggest goof ball. Gary had taken Kyle to the store to buy him a basket ball. Unknown to us, Kyle plays everyday at school, and is very good. They returned home with the ball and decided to go to a nearby park that has basketball hoops. I suggested they bring the dog. Well...who knew that this dog loves basketball so much. Everytime they shot the ball...it came back down and they had to fight the dog for the ball. He would jump up, nudge it with his head and then, once on the ground bat it away from them with his ands...all the while trying to bite it with his mouth to pick it up. Here he is going for a rebound in our family room.
Well, it was cute and funny and unbelievable how fast this dog was in getting the ball. He really gave Kyle and Gary a workout just trying to hang on to the ball.
Unfortunately on day 2 at the park, the dog was able to bite into the basketball...and yep, you guessed it...air started coming out..and that ended basketball. Here he is attempting to bite the already flat ball. He now owes Kyle a basketball.
