I'm stepping out of my turkey roasting box to try something new this year. I've been hearing over and over again about turkey brining. That it produces the most juicy moist turkey you can imagine. For a long time I thought it was just going to be like the frying the turkey fad, but this one seems to have caught on pretty good.
It's all about the chemical reaction from soaking the turkey overnight in this brine solution. There are a lot of recipes out there and you can even buy premade turkey brine kits but Alton Brown on FoodNetwork has a overwhelming popular recipe that I think I will use. Wish me luck..and of course, wish my family and all the Kaiser's coming from Southern California for Thanksgiving for luck too!
