A lump on the pup...

Soon after Shadow got his latest vaccinations he had a bad reaction. He was lethargic and didn't eat for a couple of days. Then, his energy level came back and he seemed to be his old self. Then..the lump appeared. We did all kinds of research and it can be anything from a fatty deposit, a harmless cyst to the obvious bad thing we don't want to think about a tumor.

Trips to the vets suggest it might be a part of his reaction to the vaccines and we have also read on the internet its possibility. The vet gave us a antinflammatory and that has brought the lump down considerably, but it is still there..just not as big. The lab reports show something not normal about the cells..but the vet thinks its not cancer.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that it continues to go down in size and eventually go away. However, we are also holding onto the option of having it removed altogether.
