Kyle had 2 end of the year projects to complete before Grade 5 was over. The first was a report on the state of New Jersey. Not only did he have to do the board below, but he had to do a written report and an oral report. As part of his research he interviewed Grandpa Kaiser to get a "real" New Jersey view. He scored an A on this project!
His other big project was a Science experiment. Kyle chose an experiment where he tested 3 different brands of bubble bath that had different prices. His hypothesis was that the more expensive bubble bath should produce the most bubbles and they should last the longest. Well, I'm sure you guessed it. The cheap Walmart brand actually made the most bubbles and lasted the longest. His board pictured below and his written report got him another grade A!!!
These projects were huge..it took him so long to do and both Gary and I were so proud of him. Basically Mothers Day weekend was spent finishing these up. We were all so relieved when they were done. But most importantly, we were extremely proud of Kyle and his hard work.
