Well...its only been 8 months and we just had to mention it. Not only was it one of the best SuperBowls ever (amazing game NY Giants!) but it was right in our backyard. Literally..we are 8 miles from Cardinals stadium. The blimp was over our house quite a few times!
Gary really wanted to participate in the festivities so he volunteered with Spike's Crew - the volunteer network for the SuperBowl. When the NFL designates you as the host city, there is an amazing of activities that occur prior to the game, including many football camps for the youth. Gary was able to volunteer with a couple of the camps and then during the SuperBowl on the shuttle and at the NFL Experience. He was completely exhausted by the end of the event, but he was awarded with free tickets to the NFL Experience which Kyle and Kim were extremely grateful for.
