We left Anaheim on Sunday the 25th morning after visiting with Gary's family. We were anxious to get to our new home. It was a new route that Kim had never taken so it truly was going to be a new adventure. We passed the lovely cities of Corona, Riverside, Palm Desert, all the Palm and Desert cities and of course Blythe, California. We stopped there to get drinks and use the restroom. Gary had a "wonderful" customer service experience there with a clerk at the Arco station. We did our best to hurry him out before it got ugly. Shortly after that we crossed the Arizona state line. Gary wanted me to take a picture of the 75 mph speed limit sign that is immediately after the state line sign to show that he could now drive faster...legally. This coming from our new state that has a no helmut law and allows you to carry weapons in your car. Hmmm...just what are we thinking?
