Saturday for Kim and Gary was backbreaking. We worked to pack up the garage. Luckily we had some boxes that we never unpacked from our move last year. That only saved us about an hour. How can one family accumulate so much stuff in one year? An unbelievable amount of things were thrown away or set aside to give away.
We also found out that a mouse (or maybe more than one) had been residing in our garage. Now I'm not known for liking mice much and when this one decided to run by ...well, let's just say the neighbors probably wondered what the scream was coming from our garage.
Saturday late afternoon and evening we met up with our friends James, Lori and their 2 daughters Alisha and Megan. We went to Olive Garden out in Tracy which is a pretty good half way point between our house and theirs. It was nice to see them and Molly got along really well with Alisha. After dinner we went to the Tracy mall and they kids played in the indoor playground for awhile. We then went and got ice cream and let the kids ride on their big indoor merry go round. A great time and good to see them before our move. Hoping we can meet up in Legoland or Disneyland in the future.
