A couple of visitors to the Kaiser house...

Kyle..always with the big heart...found these 2 lost dogs while out playing with his friends. We get a knock on our door and there he stood holding one, and another boy holding the other. "Can we put these in the backyard until we find their owner?" Um, well, we do have a 85+ pound chocolate lab who could bat these with his paw and send them across the backyard...but yes, bring them into the backyard. By the way, this is the second time in a month we've ended up the recipients of someone's stray dogs. Last time it was 3 dogs!

We kept Shadow inside and he freaked out. He wanted outside so bad, he wanted to play but we didn't know if they were sick or not. We got them some cool water and a little food and watched them play with each other. Gary took a ride around the neighborhood to see if anyone was looking for them, but couldn't see anyone. We finally called the Surprise police who have an animal control dept. As he was driving to our house he was flagged down by the owner. She lives in a neighborhood way across a busy street from us. How they made it to our neighborhood safely is a big question. But, we know she was very happy that we took care of them for a little bit and then the animal control officer returned them home safely. Very cute little guys aren't they?
