Basketball Season comes to an end

We had a great time with this year's basketball team. Gary really enjoyed coaching and had an awesome assistant coach Nate. Kyle enjoyed the team and all of the friends he made. We had a super bunch of parents and kids to share this first experience of basketball with Kyle. After the last game we had an end of season party at the park near our house, Veramonte.

It was a co-ed team so we had 2 girls on the team. Sydney (who is in back by Coach Nate). She is 12 and stands about 5'4". She is having the same issue that Gary had in school. Her height makes everyone believe that she can play basketball really well..but the skills haven't quite caught up to the height yet. The second girl was Jenae. She had more heart than anyone else on the team. She went head to head with every boy on her team and the team's the played. She never let up and the boys never gave her a break.

It was a great time and we hope that Kyle will want to do it again next year.
